"A hand with light house duties"
"Collecting your children""
"Teaching a new language"
What is an Au-Pair?
An au pair is a person who has decided to spend some time in a family’s home in London to improve his/her knowledge of English.
How can an Au-Pair help me?
An au pair can give you a hand with light house duties (laundry, ironing…) and will help you with childcare.
Some of the ways an au pair can help you with your children are: Dropping and collecting your children from school, dressing, undressing, or bathing your children. Playing and even teaching a new language to your children (mainly Spanish).
Also, the au pair will provide babysitting service, and can cook meals.
What are the requirements?
You have to provide a single room for the au pair. The au pair needs some free time to attend English lessons (or any other option) and at least two free nights a week.
You will also have to pay some pocket money to the au pair weekly (around 80 pounds) plus food.
I am interested in your services, what should I do next?
